- Mainly conducted preliminary Consultancy and free service of News Update.

- Began to provide a series of Market Reports for overseas investors or overseas corporations.
- CCM engaged in press clipping service and database service Titles From Chinese Periodicals, which are suspended at present.

2002

- Developed overseas market.
- Industries extended to bulk pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals and polymers.
- Extended the activities to Trading Business and Agency Service, which are supplement of consulting services. Nowadays suspended, since CCM decided to focus on Consultancy business.
- Started Product Summary & Industrial Summary business, which summarizes the production & market of a particular product or a particular industry and is presented in summary form with low price. Now this service has been evolved into a variety of Consultancy business including ad-hoc project, short reports, price monitoring, etc.

2003

- 11 people
- Run into fast development mode.
- Industries extended to natural resources and extracts, intermediates.
- Seek development mode of simple form Newsletters which involves information collection, compilation and timely update for 13 chemical & pharmaceuticals.
- Started up the strategic future research on specific segment or product, which sets CCM apart from other consulting firms.

2004

- Began to set up cooperation with global consulting firms.
- Industries extended to specialty paper chemicals, agrochemicals, corn products and fermentation products.
- Developed Import & Export Analysis to provide in-depth analysis of a particular product based on the Custom Data (shipment record) either by picking up the transactions for particular product from a mass number of Customs transaction, or by mapping each transaction to specific Chinese producer. This service is the extension of Import & Export Statistics, the free database of the import & export situation of chemicals & pharmaceuticals on annum base.

2005

- 21 people
  Industries extended to printing, paper, packaging, metallurgy coke.
- Started up benchmarking and cost structure analysis, aiming to uncover the mysteries of ever-increasing capability of Chinese products.
- Started up End Use Analysis & Consumption Pattern Research (bottom up research) , based on thorough understanding of production, import & export and end use sectors, and aiming to figure out the consumption pattern of the research topics and the situation of each major end use sector, followed by scientific forecast.

2006

- Set up sister company in Hong Kong, CCM International Limited, as a window to do business with overseas companies.
- Set up the second office in Guangzhou.
- Made frequent presence in international market by attending various international exhibitions.
- Industries extended to pigments and inks.
- Launched formal Newsletters with CCM's brand.
- Launched the Conferences and Seminars,collaborating with first-class event organizers in the world, aiming to provide a scenario for world class experts and companies to propagandize the latest development of market, technology of various industries in China, and feeling the pulse of the world development and its impact on the Chinese market.
